Biography of Phil Collins:
Phil Collins is an author and Leader Writer for The Times newspaper, as well as holding the position of Chairman of the board of trustees at the independent think tank Demos. He was formerly the Chief Speech Writer for the then Prime Minister, Tony Blair, and the Director of the progressive Social Market Foundation (SMF) think tank. He has also authored two books, The Times book of the year: When They Go Low, We Go High: Speeches that shape the world – and why we need them; and Start Again: How we Can Fix Our Broken Politics.
