Ralph is a Director and Partner at Lansons. He has over 30 years consulting experience covering reputation management, corporate communications, and public policy advice in many business areas. His experience spans advice to Boards and senior teams in a variety of sectors including financial services, energy, pharmaceutical, chemicals, manufacturing, and retail. In financial services alone he has advised clients in asset management, pensions, retail and commercial banking, private banking, and insurance. These include HBOS, Standard Life, Cofunds, Royal London, Scottish Life, Invesco, JP Morgan Asset Management, Metro Bank, Shawbrook Bank, Nationwide, and Ansbacher. Other significant clients are or have been GSK, Dell, London Luton Airport, the Isle of Man Government, and Babcock & Wilcox Volund. He is also a crisis expert, and serves on the EMEA crisis team for the global consulting network, PROI.
He is senior counsel to the public policy team within Lansons, and has extensive experience of campaigns and influencing legislation in the UK and EU. He has considerable experience of public speaking, chairing industry roundtables and other gatherings – for example he has presented at the prestigious Gleneagles Life and Savings Conference – and is a regular contributor to media. He is an IPR member and currently serves on the PRCA Council. He was formerly on the management board of the industry body APPC, now part of the PRCA.
