As joint Managing Director, Laura has advised across corporate and financial, consumer and b2b briefs, building and protecting corporate reputations for over 25 years. She specialises in developing compelling narratives that resonate across stakeholders, managing high profile reputational issues, and running fully integrated communication programmes and campaigns that deliver against objectives.
She has advised the Co-operative Bank since 2013, working with the management team through the issues the organisation faced, the cycle of the Bank’s financial calendar, its successful Recapitalisation Plan, and showcasing the Bank’s ethical difference as it has rebuilt the business. Laura’s recent clients also include advising the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA); leading wealth manager St James’s Place; mutual insurer LV=; and specialist bank Aldermore, where she headed the team through their recent acquisition by South African FirstRand Group.
During her career she has helped organisations navigate major organisational change and corporate events and also successfully build powerful reputations which add value and create goodwill. She helped develop a leadership position for Fidelity International in the UK over 15 years; relaunched LV= as a modern insurance brand; bought MORE TH>N to market and has worked with brands such as PayPal, the Post Office and M&S Bank.
