Societe Generale appoints Lansons to handle Corporate & Investment Banking
Societe Generale, the French multinational banking and financial services company, has appointed Lansons to provide agency support for its Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) arm, adding to the services Lansons already provides for SG Securities Services, SG Global Transaction Banking and SGPB Hambros.
Lansons, which won the account following a competitive pitch, will report to SG’s Head of UK Media Relations Murray Parker and provide support for CIB across its Investment Banking, Global Markets and Global Finance businesses.
Societe Generale has recently put significant investment behind its brand in the UK, with major sponsorships including the 2015 Rugby World Cup and the Victoria & Albert Museum in Kensington, London. The Lansons team will aim to build Societe Generale’s media profile at the group level in the UK, while also highlighting the bank’s strengths in individual business areas.
Lansons Director Tom Baldock said:
“We are delighted to be extending our work with Societe Generale, a leading force in European financial services and a significant employer in London with a commitment to supporting local economies and communities. We look forward to working with them to raise the profile of SG’s Corporate & Investment Banking business and the wider group.”
