On Friday 18 September Lansons was joined by over 60 guests (and 170 live streamers) for ‘States of Digital: Roles of the Future, In-house Structures & Agency Offerings‘, as part of Social Media Week London.
The event discussed how the communications industry can and should adapt to the changing digital landscape and featured an expert panel made up of Russ Graham, Head of Digital & Social at Lansons, Tim McLoughlin, Head of Social Media at Saatchi & Saatchi and Thane Ryland, Head of Social Analytics at Microsoft Mobile.
Topics discussed included the impact of automation on digital communications and roles, the differing strategic roles of in-house compared to agency digital teams, the rise of ad blockers, how to effectively measure the impact of digital and illustrate its value to the c-suite and predictions about what the future holds for the industry.
