Matthew’s experience planning effective public relations campaigns includes his work as head of communications for Nasdaq’s Global Information Services and North American Markets business units and overseeing communications for Nasdaq’s Chief Economist. At Nasdaq he led product launch campaigns while also overseeing communications around many regulatory and legal issues affecting these central business units. Landmark Nasdaq events he managed communications for include the 20th anniversary of Nasdaq’s partnership with Invesco around the flagship QQQ ETF, the launch of the Nasdaq Fund Network and the premier of Nasdaq’s Cloud Data Service.
Prior to joining Nasdaq, Matthew advised and directed communications campaigns for NICE Actimize, Tradeweb, ITG and the Global Impact Investing Network, and managed the Aspectus impact investing practice. Prior to joining Aspectus, he was a financial journalist for more than 14 years, covering venture capital, private equity, and leveraged finance.
