Prior to joining the firm, she was Head of Marketing and Communications at Nomura, where she led the PR and marketing campaigns for the Japanese global bank’s Americas division. She also held senior executive roles at the American Stock Exchange, where she oversaw all PR and marketing efforts; ELX Futures, an electronic futures exchange backed by a consortium of banks, including Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan; and Broadway Technology, a provider of high-performance trading software for banks and hedge funds.
Mary also ran her own independent PR firm where she spent five years promoting the brands and reputations of over 30 clients in fintech and financial services. Mary started her career as a journalist working for CBS News and the Financial Times, where she had her own weekly column called “On Wall Street.” She received a BA, double majoring in Journalism and Political Science from Carleton University and an MS in Journalism from Columbia University.
