We are proud to be sponsoring and hosting the CIPR – Chartered Institute of Public Relations International AGM on 25th September.

This year we will be discussing mental health in the PR Industry with an exclusive panel.

According to The Drum, recent research into the PR profession has exposed that over a fifth of PRs have been diagnosed with a mental health condition, whilst 75% claimed that agency or consultancy communications was the most stressful sector.

The CIPR’s State of PR research, which investigated the mental health implications of working within the communications sector, found that 21% of practitioners have been diagnosed with a mental health condition.

The panel is chaired by Rob Smith, Editor of Influence Magazine.

Opening remarks will be by CIPR President Emma Leech.

The panelists will discuss the challenges faced by organisations and individuals in addressing mental health issues in the public relations industry worldwide.

Speakers include:

Emma Mamo, Head of Workplace Wellbeing at Mind
Lucy Yurek, Global Head of Communications for HSBC
Jacqueline Hurst, Life Coach
James Endersby, Chief Executive at Opinium
