CIPR National Conference 2019

When:13/11/2019 at 9:30 am Where:British Library, 96 Euston Road, London, NW1 2DB

Tony Langham’s talk, ‘Reputation on the line’ will be be looking into how the digital world exposes bad behaviour faster than ever before and makes it harder to know who to trust and what to believe in.

It is no longer enough to have great products and services, companies also have to do the right thing. The only way to be trusted is to be trustworthy. To earn a seat at Board level, our profession has to go beyond public relations and corporate communications.

Trust is in deficit and we have to transition into reputation managers, guiding the behaviour of our organisations. What might our future companies look like with authentic reputations front and centre and what will our place be in these companies?

The CIPR National Conference is looking into Preparing for the Digital Future

The pace of technological development is accelerating, fundamentally disrupting how we live and work. For public relations professionals, predicting the impacts of these changes and communicating effectively is part of the day job. This year’s National Conference will explore the different elements of transformation, from the future work place, digital detox, to the relationship between content and power, as well as much more.

The conference is aimed at experienced PR professionals and will attract delegates from the public, private and not-for-profit sectors.
