Chief Executive and Co-Founder Tony Langham wins PRCA Outstanding Contribution Award

We are delighted to announce that our Chief Executive and Co-Founder Tony Langham has won the Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) ‘Outstanding Contribution Award’ for his work in the PR industry. This is added to his previous PRCA awards, having won the ‘Mark Mellor Award for Outstanding Contribution to the UK Public Relations Industry’ in 2016, and the ‘Outstanding Contribution Gold Award’ in 2004.

In his 35 years of experience in the PR industry, Tony has advised Governments, organisations and companies on their image and reputation. PR Week named him as one of the 300 most influential PR professionals in the world in its Global Power Book in 2016 and 2017. In 2014 and 2015 Debrett’s named Tony as one of the 500 most influential people in the UK. He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and also holds senior non-executive Chairman roles in the financial technology, market research and horse racing industries.

This award coincides with Tony and his Co-Founder Clare Parsons (Chair) celebrating 30 years of Lansons, which they started together back in 1989 by re-mortgaging their flat and taking out a string of credit cards. Tony and Clare’s creation is now a leading reputation management consultancy with a global network and has won over 90 industry awards, including being named UK ‘Agency of the Year’ on 17 occasions.

2019 also marks the release of Tony’s debut book, ‘Reputation Management: The Future of Corporate Communications and Public Relations’, commissioned by the PRCA and published by Emerald. The book features specially commissioned essays, as well as contributions from leading CEO’s, influencers and celebrities, it provides a complete blueprint and toolkit for reputation management. Already receiving positive reviews from PR Place, YouTube vloggers and Amazon customers alike, Reputation Management will prove indispensable to all professionals and students working in or studying business, marketing, corporate communications and public relations.
