The Role

• Board level business leader responsible for leading within our asset management business
• Working collaboratively with other board members to build our asset management expertise and reputation
• Personally drive new business in the asset management space, and in other related sectors and businesses
• Externally be an ambassador for Lansons’ impressive track record and expertise in the sector
• Help keep Lansons at the forefront of developments and changes in the sector
• Be instrumental in leading initiatives to help position Lansons as the key adviser on issues in the sector such as ESG and help steer our clients further into the ‘modern world’
• Proactively suggest, and front, Lansons-run events for external audiences
• Internally be an ambassador and champion of the sector
• Take responsibility for motivating, coaching and steering a ‘virtual practice’ of specialists of all levels – all operating within our open no-silos structure

We are looking for somebody who …

• Has current experience, working with forward-thinking companies both advising at a corporate level and driving thought leadership and campaigns in the sector
• Is connected across the sector with strong media, intermediary and consultant relationships
• Thinks in an integrated way with a strong understanding of digital execution. The candidate’s skills must enhance our already impressive integrated consultancy proposition
• Is deeply versed in the issues facing the industry and experienced at advising at the C suite level
• Ideally has worked with organisations to define and articulate their ESG position and narrative
• Can use their network of contacts to help build Lansons’ business
• Brings a track record of building teams and be an inspirational and motivational leader
• Background might be within the adviser world, in consultancy, in-house asset management, or even specialist media
