Expertise
Our approach
People and relationships are at the heart of successful businesses. We achieve effective outcomes for our clients that provide value through creative communications solutions. We recognise that each new challenge is unique, and that a strong understanding is the key to a successful solution. So rather than stretching your brief around our team, we form our team around your specific brief.
Our consultants are spread across four practice groups: Financial Services, Corporate, Brand & Consumer and Lansons Live, our broadcast and digital media relations and content production unit.
Bringing together a blend of relevant expertise from within these practice groups means both we and our clients benefit from fresh perspectives and a bespoke approach, whatever the challenge. This flexible approach also makes us ready to adapt our strategy and team quickly to keep pace with client needs.

Laura has been with Lansons since 1997 and is a partner and our joint managing director. Her career spans a number of consumer, B2B and investment clients, including Fidelity International, Alliance & Leicester, TescoCompare and LV=. Laura created and orchestrated Fidelity’s campaigns from 1997 taking it to a position where it became the best known and most respected fund manager in the UK with the number one media coverage against its competitors every year. For Alliance & Leicester, she created the award-winning ‘switch to a better account’ campaign, helping to ensure the company exceeded targets by attracting customers away from the ‘big four’ banks. Laura was previously with Ludgate Communications as director of its financial services division.

At Lansons, our Brand & Consumer Practice delivers bespoke offerings be in it in the area of health, charities, finance or FMCG and whether it is across planning, media relations, social media, consumer experiences, digital stimulation or reputation management.

At Lansons we believe that engaging employees not only makes good economic sense, it’s also the right thing to do. Our experience tells us that genuinely engaged employees are more productive, more innovative and more committed.
We have managed complex and high profile change and employee engagement programmes for some of the world’s best-known organisations. We have worked right across the sectors: from Oil & Gas multinationals to Investment Banks; Global Mining giants to NGOs; Public Sector organisations to some of the world’s leading Technology companies. We have significant experience managing the sensitivities around re-organisations, redundancy programmes and post-merger integrations. We firmly believe in working with our clients to reduce the complexity of these programmes, so that employees and stakeholders can get to grips with what the changes actually mean for them. We believe in using research methods to really listen to your people, generating genuine insight, and then acting on it. This helps build credible and compelling conversations. Conversations which matter. Conversations which have value. The Lansons Change and Employee Engagement practice brings together a great team with diverse skills and experience, including former journalists, HR specialists, psychologists and event managers. We are creative, pragmatic problem-solvers who thrive on developing big ideas which work in practice.

Comprising a team of journalists, creatives, online specialists and account executives, they are here to help your business reach and influence stakeholders and to achieve the most effective and engaging forms of communications in fresh, exciting and imaginative ways.
Overview
There has been a marked shift in how we consume news. The internet continues to change everything and, alongside conventional broadcast, is now the method of choice to reach audiences both niche and mainstream. But unlike broadcast, online channels offer the chance to engage and converse, creating a truly two-way environment where reputations can be made and lost.
The growth of social media means every stakeholder can be a publisher with their own voice, influence and network. We believe you should be too by communicating direct and by being a consistent content producer – earning attention, stimulating conversations, attracting interest, winning advocates and deepening relationships.
From the full range of production services delivered from our in-house broadcast studio to online reputation management and from broadcast PR campaigns to media skills training, Lansons Live offers leading-edge technology with innovative, pioneering solutions carefully aligned to business development objectives.

Clare Parsons
Clare is the co-founder and chair of Lansons Communications. Passionate about the agency, its respected position as an employer and the work it does for clients – many of which have been with her from the start – Clare places great emphasis on the company’s ethics, its principles of inclusion and responsibility, and its increasingly important work within the international arena. Over the two decades running Lansons, she has also been actively involved both in the PR industry as a whole and with the not-for-profit sector. She spent five years on the Chartered Institute of Public Relations’ (CIPR) City and Corporate committee as well as on a number of internal CIPR committees, and three years on the marketing committee of ProShare. Clare’s work has increasingly taken her into the charitable and not-for-profit sectors. She is a trustee of both HighTide (who share Lansons’ offices) and Getting On Board (promoting senior volunteering), has worked on the RSC’s London Development Committee, is a GASP (Great Almeida Supper Club) committee member of the Almeida Theatre, and – as the parent of a sufferer - spent many years as a trustee of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Clare was recognised with the Stephen Talent Award by the CIPR for her contribution to the industry, is one Real Business magazine’s Top 100 Women UK Entrepreneurs and a fellow of both the CIPR and the Royal College of Art.
