BAKER TILLY:

Headline News in the Making

Headline News in the Making

Challenge

Create an attention-grabbing PR programme to raise the profile of Baker Tilly.

Advice

An effective way of profile building for any company is to focus on the broadcast media and by making a few key spokespeople the public face of the company. We recommended that Baker Tilly differentiate

themselves from their competitors by undertaking a hard-hitting programme targeting this media, positioning Baker Tilly as expert, knowledgeable and engaging thought leaders.

Ideas

We identified and established expert spokespeople within Baker Tilly to comment on hot topics within the economy, corporate finance trends, legislation and SMEs. We created a bank of broadcast-led news angles

utilizing research and stories created together with Baker Tilly. We then avidly monitored the broadcast media to ensure we exploited any reactive commentary opportunities.

Results

Our Baker Tilly spokespeople became hot property to broadcast journalists and we were able to steer the news agenda with tailored comment on a number of economic and business issues.

Our impactful PR programme resulted in regular coverage on BBC News, Sky News, Jeff Randall Live, BBC Radio 5 Live, BBC Radio 2 and ITV News, to name but a few.
