Intern opportunities
Lansons Communications offers three-month internships to post-graduates at various times throughout the year. We will be accepting applications for our next internship programme in January 2009.
This salaried position will provide exposure to a wide range of public relations activities and provide support across client teams and disciplines.
The ideal candidate would possess:
- A strong desire for a career in Public Relations
- An interest in current affairs and the media
- A strong academic background
- The capacity to think and act independently and on their own initiative
- Good communications skills and a willingness to be part of a team
- Excellent writing skills and attention to detail.
- Good IT skills (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook)
Activities would include, but not be limited to:
- Shadowing our specialist teams including Lansons Public Affairs and Lansons Live
- Participation in internal meetings, brainstorms and client work
- Analysis and evaluation of PR outputs
- Desk research for PR initiatives or new business
- Support for our Trainee Executives who provide the admin support for client teams
- Helping with marketing initiatives and events
On completion we would consider our intern for any relevant vacant permanent position.
